# Email an invoice

> Email an invoice, with a Stripe payment page if you like.

1. On the invoice, select **More actions › Send by email**.
2. Choose a template if you have one, or write the subject and message. The practice signature is added for you.
3. Tick what to include: an online payment link, the invoice PDF, or the Medicare statement.
4. Select **Send email**.

Nothing is emailed until you select **Send email**. If the Medicare statement names a private location, Bilby asks before sending. See [Medicare and DVA](https://docs.bilby.health/medicare/statements.md#private-locations-on-a-medicare-statement).

## Send a Stripe payment page

**More actions › Send with Stripe** has Stripe email the patient a page to pay what they owe. It is a payment request, not a tax invoice. When the patient pays, the payment is recorded on the invoice.

The patient needs an email address on file. If there isn't one, use **Request deposit** to make a link you can copy or text. Neither option appears on third-party invoices.
