# HICAPS claims

> Claim through HICAPS from an invoice.

When an invoice's funding source is linked to a HICAPS program, such as NDIS, WorkCover or a health fund, the invoice shows a HICAPS claim section.

1. Make sure each fee has a HICAPS item code in **Settings › Services & fees**.
2. On the invoice, select **Submit claim**.
3. Watch the claim's status on the invoice.

While the claim is waiting, you can select **Cancel claim**. If it fails, the error is shown. Fix the problem and select **Resubmit claim**.

You link a funding source to a HICAPS program in **Settings › Funding sources**. Connecting HICAPS is on [Integrations](https://docs.bilby.health/integrations/hicaps.md).
