# Billing and payments

> Set fees, raise invoices, take payments and deposits, refund, and send invoices to Xero.

Billing is where you raise invoices, take payments, give refunds and send invoices to patients and other payers. Medicare and DVA claims also start from the invoice. They have their own page, [Medicare and DVA](https://docs.bilby.health/medicare/overview).

## Who can use this

Practitioners see only the invoices where they are the practitioner, on the Billing page and everywhere else.
