# Move, cancel or delete an appointment

> Move an appointment, cancel it, mark did not attend, or delete it.

## Move an appointment

Drag it to a new time or day, or open it, select **Edit**, change the time and save. To change its length or practitioner, edit it. You can't drag on a touch screen.

## Cancel, mark did not attend, or delete

Right-click the appointment, or open the **…** menu in the panel, and choose **Cancel appointment**. Then choose what happens:

* Cancel appointment marks it cancelled and voids its invoice. The voided invoice stays on record.
* Did not attend keeps the invoice.
* Delete appointment removes it and any unpaid invoices linked to it.

> Deleting can't be undone. Bilby won't delete an appointment that has a clinical note or a payment. Cancel it instead.
