# Set up a new practice

> Create the practice in Bilby and answer the first setup questions.

Anyone with a Bilby account can create a practice. You become its owner and an admin. Setup takes a few minutes, and the steps are listed on the left as you go.

1. Read and agree to the terms, then select **Continue**.
2. Enter your practice name. Patients see it on bookings, invoices and reminders. You can add a logo too.
3. Add where you see patients: a location name, address and time zone.
4. Say whether you see patients yourself or manage the practice. If you see patients, add your clinical profile, or select **Set up later**.
5. Set the hours you work. Patients can only be booked inside them.
6. Add your first service: find it in the fee schedule, or add a private service, then set your fee.
7. Select **Book your first appointment**, or **Open calendar**.

You can change any of this later in **Settings**.
