# Troubleshooting getting started

> Fixes for sign-in, invitation and setup problems.

### I can't sign in

Check your email and password for typing errors. If you have forgotten your password, select **Forgot password?** on [app.bilby.health/sign-in](https://app.bilby.health/sign-in).

### Bilby says my password appeared in a data breach

Select **Reset your password** and choose a new password you don't use anywhere else.

### My invitation link doesn't work

Ask your practice admin to send you a new invitation.

### Bilby says "Finish setting up your account"

You are signed in but not part of a practice. Create a practice, or ask your practice admin to invite you again.

### I'm a practitioner and I see no appointments or patients

Your account isn't linked to your practitioner record. Ask an admin to link it in **Settings › Users**.

### I can't see Settings

Only admins can open Settings. Ask an admin if you need it.

### A practitioner can't be booked

Check **Settings › Overview**. The practitioner needs a location, weekly hours and at least one service.
